Submission information > Invited paper

Invited papers

Invited papers are solicited by an organizer of an invited session. You need to have an Invited Session Code from the session organizer (the person who invited you to write the paper) for submitting a paper in this category.

All invited papers will be subject to review and assessment by the Program Committee, who will select a proportion of submissions for inclusion in the conference program. Papers in invited sessions must present original, unpublished work on a topic which falls within the scope of the symposium. Invited session papers must not be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere.

Further essential points

  • Submissions must be formatted according to the detailed instructions. In particular, they must at most  6 pages / words long, except for Tutorials in invited sessions which may be up to 12 pages long, and should be typeset in two column format, 10 point Times Roman font.
  • They may be either full 6 page submissions, or extended abstracts of at least 2000 words that convey sufficient detail as to allow an informed peer review. However, full submissions are preferred.
  • Submissions will only be accepted in Portable Document Format (pdf). Hardcopy submissions will not be accepted.
  • An accepted submission must be presented at the Symposium in order to be included in the official Congress Proceedings and to have it considered for recommendation to the IFAC and affiliated journals.
  • The preprints of the symposium will contain all the papers presented at the Symposium which have passed the review procedure of the symposium.
